Help us build our own crops in Surin

$600 of $100,000 raised

Elephants may spend 12-18 hours a day feeding. Adult elephants can eat between 200-600 pounds (ca. 272 kilograms)  !!! of food a day. As herbivores, elephants consume grasses, tree foliage, bark, twigs, and other vegetation daily. Elephants can also drink up to 50 gallons (189.27 l) of water a day about as much as a standard bathtub holds. Common foods include carrots, apples, and bananas; less-common ones are melons, pineapples, pears, celery, parsley, lettuce, cabbage, kale, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, and beets.

In Thailand many elephants are malnourished, and we would like to bring back the variety of foods in their diet to get sufficient nutrients and vitamins they need.

Buying land to crow the crops only for the Elephants is the best way to make this happen, this will secure their future in long-lasting security for daily food allowances. Donate below to make this happen.
